Just as religions are internally diverse (if you've met one Catholic, you've met one Catholic) the same is true of those who self-identify as spiritual but not religious. Generalizing as you do here is not helpful.

I'd recommend that you read Belief Without Borders by Linda Mercandante. She can explain a great deal to you.
