There's no question that the galaxies are moving away from one another. In fact, the rate at which they are moving is accelerating. It stand to reason that if we reverse that motion, everything was once all together.

The abundance of hydrogen and helium in the Universe is completely consistent with the Bang Bang explanation of how elements formed.

We have mathematical models that show how the Big Bang event took place out of "nothing." Nobody has ever encountered "nothing" in their lives, so there's no way to talk about what nothing can or can't do.
